Q: what percentage of donations and proceeds go directly to those in need?

A: 100% of donations go directly to the athletes. They are held in a high interest savings account until we choose deserving recipeients. All profits from items purchased at the store go directly back into the fund. The only money we take is to cover the costs of manufacturing the apparel. 

Q: Who will receive the donations?

A: We are currently working with the Whalers Youth Hockey Association out of Cromwell, Connecticut to find deserving candidates. We are also taking submissions by email on who you may think need some help covering season fees and equipment. We will do everything we can to make sure the donations go into the hands of deserving kids. Recipients willing to be honored will be acknowledged on our website and social media accounts.

Q: Is the fund just for hockey players?

A: Though hockey is the primary sport we look to help out in, due to its high costs, we will be looking towards other sports to help in. 


Q: what is your return policy?

A: All donations and sales are final. If you wish to exchange sizes, email us and we will try our best to make something work.

Q:do you work out in the community?

A: We are always looking to set up booths to fundraise, along with sponsoring events and doing whatever we can to help the community. You can find the events we will be at on the calendar on our homepage, along with on our social media accounts. 


Q how can I help the fund?

A: Obviously, what helps the most is donations and store purchases. However, if you wanted to donate your time, we may be able to use your assistance working fundraising events, networking, looking for recipients, etc. Please email me at colingrodzki@gmail.com if you would like to help. We may be able to find something on a case by case basis. It would be strictly volunteer work with no monetary compensation. Other compensations may apply.
